Howard The Duck

Just the mere sentence or reference to Howard the Duck should send shivers down your back. But yes folks, for just $125 of your hard earned paycheck you can purchase the Howard The Duck Statue from an Ecommerce Web store  here.

This is a 9inch status that is modeled after the Marvel Comic creature that appeared in comics in issues in 1973. However we best know Howard form the Movie Version Right?

For those of you to young to remember, Howard the Duck was a movie produced by George Lucas, starring Lea Thompson.  The movie is about Howard an Alien from a planet of Ducks, that travels to Earth.  In the town of Cleveland no less, Howard meets and romances “Beverly” (Lea Thomson) as well as helps here with her music career. Great plot huh?

Check out the  movie trailer below

So would you buy this this? It’s only $125, but beware:
There is a safety waring:
Safety Warning: This Product is for Adult Collectors. It may contain sharp points, small parts that are choking hazards, and other elements that are not suitable for children under 16 years of age.

That safety warning is interesting.. “This Product is for Adult Collectors” ..I mean do they really think that any kid in 1986 would actually want to buy this?

Yes, this an adult collectors items, for all 2 adults on planet Earth who actually liked this film.

  2. Bill M says:

Anyone who knows the REAL Howard, that is, those of us who read and appreciated the comic (and thus hated the film), know this statue is based on the book, NOT the movie. Still, a c-note plus for this thing? Even Howard would be insulted.
